CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS SABBATICAL
“The very act of art and design can heal and mend the mind and soul.”

CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS has been designed as a one to four week sabbatical for men and women who are longing for a personal time to heal and mend their mind and soul. Through the use of art expressions we invite each participant to “come away and rest your weary mind.” Creative Expressions will provide a learning environment that will invigorate your personal desire for wellbeing and restoration.

Each of the four-weeks will provide an experiential learning opportunity for creative expressions.

    * Week One: Weavings – Through the use of looming, wall hangings, mobiles, quilting and yarn creations each participant will explore the use of weavings to find their center and enjoy the solitude of weaving creative expressions.
    * Week Two: Clay – Sculpting, pottery, imprints and clay expressions will encourage each participant to gather together their intimate relationship with the earth and all of creation so that being grounded becomes second nature.
    * Week Three: Color – Watercolor, acrylics, sketching and oil pastels will awaken the sensuality and sexuality of being alive and connected to the beauty of all creation.
    * Week Four: Design – Stamping, Scrap-booking, Masks, Collage will help each participant organize their personal life continuum and explore their blessings and burdens, life losses and the abbas (fathers) and ammas (mothers) that have contributed to his/her center point.

Any one-week $950 (includes supplies) All four-weeks $2,500 (includes supplies)
